Strakture is a WordPress plugin developed and operated by Aleksandr Samokhin. Our website address is: https://strakture.com.
What data we collect and why
Strakture is a WordPress plugin. It does not operate a user-facing website that collects personal data through forms, comments, or registrations. The information described below relates solely to data transmitted by the plugin when it communicates with our API.
Free version
When you open the pattern library, the plugin sends read-only requests to our API (https://api.strakture.com) to load pattern categories and pattern content. These requests include:
- Your WordPress version number
- Your site’s language/locale setting (e.g.
en_US) - The selected pattern category and page number
This information is used solely to serve compatible, correctly localized patterns. No personal data is transmitted.
Premium version
In addition to the above, the premium version transmits the following data to our API when you generate an AI-powered pattern:
- Your Freemius license key (used to authenticate your subscription)
- Your site’s home URL
- Your site type
- Your active theme slug and whether it is a block theme
- Your theme’s CSS custom properties (colors, typography, spacing) and layout settings
- An optional customization prompt you enter manually
Theme style data is used exclusively to generate patterns that match your site’s design. It is not stored beyond what is necessary to complete the generation request.
Payment processing
Premium subscriptions are processed by Freemius. When you purchase a plan, your billing information (name, email address, payment details) is collected and handled by Freemius directly. Images (Unsplash)
AI-generated patterns may include images sourced from Unsplash. Images are retrieved through our API. When a pattern containing Unsplash images is inserted, the plugin sends an attribution notification to our API as required by Unsplash’s API guidelines. This request contains only the Unsplash-supplied download URL for each image — no personal data is included. Unsplash’s privacy policy is available at https://unsplash.com/privacy.
Cookies
The Strakture plugin does not set any cookies in visitors’ browsers. Some plugin state (such as cached pattern data) is stored in your browser’s localStorage for performance. This data never leaves your browser and is not transmitted to us.
Data retention
We do not persistently store theme style data or customization prompts beyond the time needed to complete a generation request. License keys are retained for as long as your subscription is active in order to authenticate API requests. Aggregate, non-identifiable usage statistics may be retained to improve the service.
Your rights
If you have an active Strakture subscription and would like to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you, please contact us at the address below. We will respond within 30 days.
Third-party services
This plugin interacts with the following third-party services:

Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date of the most recent revision will be noted at the top of this page. Continued use of the plugin after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
